How do I request an Inter Library Loan   

The Yeats Library can acquire books and journal articles from other libraries for the use of students.  Photocopies of articles may be retained.  Books are loaned for a number of weeks and must be returned to the Yeats Library.

Requesting an item

On Campus and Online Students follow these steps:

Services (drop down menu item along the top of the screen)

Document Supply and Inter Library Loans

Request an Inter Library Loan

Login with your student email ( and IT, Sligo password (same as for Moodle)

Request an Inter Library Loan

Read and accept Copyright Declaration

Chose a publication Type from the drop down menu, eg. Journal article

Enter details of the item you require and Click Create at the end

You will be emailed when the item is available for collection at the Library Information Desk.  

Online Students Only

The Library will post copies of articles to you.  You must complete, sign and return a copyright form following these steps:
